About LANIPScanner
LANIPScanner scans a selected local network and lists computers and devices it can detect. It uses several network discovery methods and can display fields such as IP and hardware addresses, device name, workgroup, device type, protocol information, response time, and IPv6 address when available. For devices that respond to certain discovery protocols, it can also show raw response data for closer inspection. This helps administrators identify equipment on a local network and review how devices are presenting themselves. Discovery depends on the chosen address range, protocols, and device responses. LANIPScanner reports what it can observe; it does not configure the devices it finds.
