About MailFathom CLI
MailFathom CLI is an administrative command-line client for managing a self-hosted mail service over HTTP. It can sign in to an administrative endpoint, keep a separate profile for each deployment, check whether a saved credential remains valid, and complete OAuth authorization for a mailbox. The evidence specifically says the client does not read the service configuration, open its database, or access its secret store. The mail service itself synchronizes IMAP mailboxes into a database and exposes indexed mail to AI agents, but those are functions of the service being administered rather than the CLI. The client is distributed for Windows to let administrators manage deployments from that environment.
