About Master Signer Agent
Master Signer Agent is a native messaging component that lets a browser extension access compatible hardware security tokens for digital signing. It supports PKCS#11 tokens and enables signatures described as compliant with Brazil’s ICP-Brasil framework. The evidence lists several token families and also notes compatibility with other PKCS#11 devices. This component acts as a bridge between the browser extension and locally connected signing hardware, allowing a web-based signing workflow to use a token. The agent is not itself a general document editor or certificate authority; its role depends on the companion extension, a compatible token, and the signing process being used.
