About MHC2Gen
MHC2Gen is an experimental tool for generating MHC ICC profiles from existing ICC profiles created by a calibration solution. ICC profiles describe color characteristics so that devices and software can reproduce colors more consistently. MHC profiles are associated with color management in Windows, and MHC2Gen converts existing calibration profile information into that format. This makes the tool relevant to users working with display calibration and color profiles. Its role is a specialized conversion step rather than general monitor calibration. MHC2Gen uses an existing ICC profile as the basis for generating an MHC profile, supporting a color-management workflow on Windows. It builds on existing calibration data instead of starting from no profile.
