About miniWOL
miniWOL sends Wake-on-LAN magic packets to configured computers. A magic packet can prompt a compatible machine on the network to wake from a supported low-power state, allowing users to start a computer remotely. The application places a small icon in the Windows system tray or the macOS menu bar. Once a target is configured, users can send the wake signal from that menu without managing the lower-level packet details each time. miniWOL is intended for people who need a quick way to wake computers on a network. It provides a small cross-platform interface for sending Wake-on-LAN packets to defined machines.
