About MiTeC Network Scanner
MiTeC Network Scanner checks devices and services across a network using several discovery and inspection methods. It can perform ping sweeps, scan TCP and UDP ports, enumerate resource shares and services, and use protocols such as NetBIOS, Active Directory, and SNMP. It can resolve host names, detect a local IP range, and display basic properties of SNMP-capable devices. Results can be edited, saved, loaded, printed, or exported to CSV. These features support inventory and troubleshooting for administrators and users inspecting their own networks. The supplied description does not imply that scan results are a complete security assessment. It also includes service discovery and multicast DNS resolution. It supports multi-threaded scanning across network services.
