About moonlight
Moonlight is a game-streaming client for PCs. A client receives streamed gameplay from a compatible gaming computer, allowing the game to be displayed and controlled on another device. Moonlight is therefore the receiving side of a streaming setup, rather than a game store or a game itself. The available descriptions identify it as a GameStream client and list PC use, but do not specify the host setup, network requirements, supported controls, or stream quality options. Its role is to receive gameplay through a compatible streaming service. The exact devices and configuration supported depend on the client and host environment. It is the receiving client in that game-streaming workflow.
