About mouse-desktop
mouse-desktop switches between Windows virtual desktops using a mouse gesture. Holding the wheel button and dragging horizontally moves one desktop for each 60 pixels of movement; continued dragging moves across multiple desktops. A click without a drag is passed through, so the middle mouse button can still perform its normal action. The utility works on Windows without administrator privileges, drivers, a background service, or network access. It uses a low-level mouse hook and synthesizes the standard virtual-desktop keyboard shortcut. This lets users change desktops without moving a hand from the mouse to the keyboard. The supplied description says Windows startup registration must be enabled from the tray menu after launch.
