About mstsfence
mstsfence adjusts how the Windows Remote Desktop client sizes its full-screen session. It keeps the host taskbar visible and presents the remote desktop at a one-to-one size, avoiding scaling or letterboxing in the described configuration. A small tray controller applies the behavior when the Remote Desktop client is opened through different launch paths and tracks display resolution and DPI changes. Optional settings include a dark-mode pass and a host display-scaling override. The evidence says it leaves the standard client’s credential interface and certificate or consent dialogs in place. Its purpose is display-layout adjustment for full-screen remote sessions, not remote access itself.
