About MultiCommander
MultiCommander is a Windows file manager with a dual-panel, tabbed interface. It supports routine operations such as copying, moving, renaming, and viewing files, along with browsing inside archives, automatic unpacking and sorting, directory synchronization, search, and image viewing. The application can also access FTP and the Windows Registry. Built-in scripting can automate tasks and extend the workflow, while keyboard shortcuts allow users to operate the file manager without relying only on mouse navigation. These features make it suited to both everyday file organization and more advanced, repeatable operations. The dual-panel layout lets users work with two locations side by side, which is useful for comparing or transferring collections.
