About Natron
Natron is open-source compositing software for visual effects and motion graphics. It uses a node graph, where each processing step is represented as a node and connections show how image operations combine. This provides a visual way to build and revise a compositing workflow, from individual effects through the final image sequence. Natron is intended for assembling and manipulating visual layers and effects, rather than serving as a general-purpose video editor. Some known limitations include occasional rendering stalls after a number of frames and issues with certain image or video formats. These constraints may matter when planning a project or choosing media to process. The quality and performance of a composite depend on the source material and the graph created by the user.
