About NCALayer
NCALayer enables web applications to use a digital signature associated with Kazakhstan’s national certification authority, and it provides Java support in browsers. It acts as a bridge between a user’s signing credentials and web-based workflows that need a digital signature, while also supporting browser use cases that depend on Java. The application can be extended with additional modules supplied by third-party developers. This makes the base software a platform for its core signing and browser functions, with optional modules adding capabilities. Its use is relevant to people accessing web services that rely on the country’s digital-signature infrastructure. NCALayer supports workflows where a web application needs a user to apply an official digital signature or use Java functionality in a browser.
