About Nethermind
Nethermind is an execution client for Ethereum node operators. It processes blockchain execution data and is built with a modular design that can be extended through plug-ins. The client is intended for operators who run a node and need software to follow and process the chain, including syncing and handling current chain activity. Its modular architecture also supports additional features and other chains. Running an execution client is one part of operating blockchain infrastructure; it does not replace the broader node setup or determine the applications built on top of the network. Its performance and behavior depend on the node’s hardware, network connection, configuration, and the chain being followed.
