About NetVane
NetVane maps devices on a local network and shows the services they expose. It can identify devices such as phones, computers, cameras, and smart-home equipment, then present their connections and exposed services in a live map with plain-language suggestions. This gives users a visual overview of what is present on the network and where potential exposure may exist. The application matches discovered service versions against vulnerability data from NVD and CISA KEV, bundled with the app so exposure checks can work offline. It runs a local dashboard and stores its data locally, without a cloud service, account, or separate agent. The product’s findings depend on what it can discover and on the bundled vulnerability data. It is a network visibility and exposure-checking tool, not an automatic remediation system.
