About NetworkUsageView
NetworkUsageView reads Windows network-usage records and displays data use by service or application. It can show the application name and description, network adapter, and total bytes sent and received. Windows records this information periodically, so the view is useful for comparing which applications have transferred data over a period rather than inspecting live traffic. NetworkUsageView works with usage data stored by supported Windows versions. The totals reflect the operating system’s recorded activity and may not provide packet-level detail or explain the purpose of a connection. The application presents usage information for review; it does not block or manage network traffic.
