About NexView
NexView is an open-source Windows viewer for NEXRAD Level II weather radar data. It loads radar data and renders it with map overlays, allowing users to examine weather radar scans in a geographic context. NEXRAD Level II data contains detailed radar observations used to monitor precipitation and storm structure. NexView is written in Rust and is intended for people who want to view radar data in a desktop application. Its purpose is visualization rather than forecasting or issuing official weather alerts.
