About obs-backgroundremoval
obs-backgroundremoval is a plugin for OBS that removes the background from portrait video. This lets a creator replace the original background while recording or streaming, keeping the person in view while changing the surrounding scene. The plugin is intended for portrait-oriented camera footage and fits into an OBS production workflow, where it can be used as part of preparing a live or recorded image. It isolates the person in portrait video so the surrounding background can be replaced. This background treatment can be used as part of an OBS recording or streaming scene. It is listed for Windows and serves users who want this visual treatment in an OBS-based recording or streaming setup.
