About oddmon
oddmon is a Windows tray utility that recreates auditory and visual cues associated with older computers, tied to the machine’s actual activity. It displays a hard-drive activity indicator that changes color with disk input and output, and a Turbo indicator that reflects power state. The app can play looped hard-drive seek sounds and show an optional always-on-top desktop LED panel. Sounds automatically mute when the microphone is in use and during a configurable quiet-hours period. These controls connect the nostalgic cues to current system activity while accommodating calls and quiet times. \noddmon is a lightweight desktop monitor for users who want visible and audible feedback about disk activity and system state. It operates from the system tray and does not include telemetry.
