About OmniMend
OmniMend is a Windows host for diagnosing PCs and performing approved repairs. Diagnosis is read-only; when a repair is appropriate, the application explains the proposed action, waits for user approval, and checks the relevant result afterward. The system also supports diagnostic workflows for mobile devices, Chromebooks, and recovery scenarios. A separate Security Vitals workspace investigates potentially concerning activity. It filters ordinary activity locally and uses a bounded, redacted cloud summary for higher-risk patterns. This workspace is designed to work alongside existing antivirus software and does not automatically quarantine items. OmniMend combines device diagnostics with a review-and-approve repair process, keeping changes under user control.
