About OpenedFilesView
OpenedFilesView lists files currently open on a Windows system and shows the process and access information associated with each file. It can help identify which program is holding a file when a user cannot move, open, or delete it because the file is in use. The utility can close selected handles or terminate the process that opened them, but doing so may affect the application using the file. This makes it a diagnostic and file-lock management tool for troubleshooting sharing conflicts. It does not resolve the reason a program opened the file or guarantee that closing a handle is harmless. Users should identify the relevant process before taking action.
