About OpenMPT
OpenMPT is a Windows music tracker for composing and playing music. It can create songs in its own format and edit tracker-module files used by several other tracker programs. A tracker is a music-making environment that organizes notes and sound events into patterns and tracks, giving composers a structured way to build arrangements. OpenMPT also supports VST plug-ins and ASIO audio output, extending its use with compatible audio tools and low-latency sound setups. The application combines a native graphical interface with the ability to import and edit a range of module formats. This makes it useful both for creating new tracker music and for opening existing module projects. OpenMPT brings composition, playback, and module-file editing into one Windows application.
