About OpenStego
OpenStego is a steganography application with two functions: hiding data inside an image and adding an invisible watermark signature to image files. Steganography conceals information within another file, so the image can carry embedded data without displaying it as ordinary visible text. Data hiding can be used to embed a file within an image, while watermarking associates an invisible signature with an image. The signature can help identify unauthorized copying by making it possible to check for the embedded mark. OpenStego is intended for users who need image-based data hiding or watermarking. It combines both functions in one application, supporting concealed data transfer and identification of marked images.
