About OPN Companion Application
OPN Companion is a desktop utility for retrieving barcode data from compatible Opticon scanners operating in OPN-2001 mode. It can connect to individual scanners or supported docking stations, and offers both manual and automatic operation. The application can download scanned barcodes, format or delete stored data, and adjust scanner settings such as supported symbologies, beeper, memory behavior, and LEDs. It can also display device information, read or synchronize the clock, update firmware, and reset a device to factory defaults. OPN Companion brings data transfer and device configuration together for the supported scanner models, including several OPN series devices and the PX-20.
