About Oxolan
Oxolan is a local-network file-sharing application for Windows and macOS offices. It discovers computers on the same network and transfers files directly between them over an encrypted connection, without sending the files through a cloud service. Users can drag and drop files, synchronize shared workspace folders with conflict handling, lock files, and remotely browse or search connected computers. It can also preview RAW photos without first downloading them. The application is designed for teams that move large files within one building, including design, media, clinical, and professional offices. It supports resumable transfers, so an interrupted transfer can continue after a crash or restart. Oxolan combines file transfer, shared-folder synchronization, and remote file access in a local-network workflow. It is intended for devices on the same LAN, not synchronization across the internet.
