About Pickit
Pickit is a desktop application for accessing and managing digital assets held in Pickit libraries. It brings those assets into a computer-based workflow, where users can move files directly into folders or other desktop applications. Drag-and-drop and copy-and-paste provide ways to place an asset where it is needed without working through a browser or add-in. The described desktop versions support Windows and macOS. The application serves both people using assets in creative work and administrators maintaining them. An administrator can open an asset, edit it within the application, and save the changes back to the shared library so that others can use the updated version. This connects day-to-day access with central asset maintenance: individuals can bring files into their work, while edits can be returned to the shared collection. Pickit is intended for organizations that manage a library of digital content and need a desktop route to those files.
