About PigCloud CLI
PigCloud CLI is a command-line client for transferring and managing files in PigCloud’s encrypted cloud storage. It supports uploads, downloads, synchronization, browsing stored files, and mounting an account as a local drive. These functions connect remote storage with everyday file workflows, whether a user is moving individual files or working with a larger synchronized collection. Encryption and decryption take place on the user’s machine, and file names are obfuscated before storage, so the service is described as not receiving plaintext content or names. The client also supports device-based login without storing a password and provides a local key agent for managing encryption keys. Together, these features make it possible to work with the cloud account from a terminal while keeping key operations on the local device.
