About PLEX Rich Presence
PLEX Rich Presence is a small graphical application that connects to a media account and displays the active viewing or listening session as a rich-presence status in a chat application. Rich presence is a status display that can show activity beyond a simple online indicator. In this case, the application links the user’s active media session with the status shown to others, so contacts can see what is currently playing. Its purpose is to relay current media activity as a status, rather than to play or manage the media itself. It is intended to connect media activity with a social status display, rather than to play or manage media itself.
