About Pointframe
Pointframe is a Windows screen-capture and annotation tool. Pressing Print Screen lets users select a region and add arrows, shapes, text, blur, and numbered steps. A capture can be copied to the clipboard or pinned in an always-on-top floating window for reference while working in another application. Pointframe can also record the screen to MP4 with optional microphone audio and includes built-in OCR for extracting text from screenshots. These features support documentation, tutorials, bug reports, and visual explanations. The product is described as lightweight and says it collects no telemetry and requires no subscription. Pointframe combines screenshots, annotation, text recognition, and recording in one Windows utility.
