About Power Remote
Power Remote lets users control power and session actions on Windows computers and Macs from a phone, tablet, or another computer. Over a local network or Wi-Fi it can put a computer to sleep, wake it, lock it, restart or shut it down, and log out. It can also turn off the display or keep the computer awake for a chosen period. This provides remote control for routine computer states when the user is not at the host machine. Power Remote operates across supported devices on the local network; the target computer’s configuration and permissions affect which actions can be completed. It is a control utility, not a remote desktop or file-management application.
