About PriorityGear

PriorityGear manages process priorities on Windows through user-mode rules and a system mode for approved machine-wide rules. It provides a way to configure how selected processes are prioritized by the operating system. User-mode rules can apply within a user's session, while system-mode rules use a LocalSystem service for machine-level settings. This distinction allows administrators to choose between per-user behavior and approved rules that apply more broadly across the computer. PriorityGear is intended for Windows users and administrators who need to manage process priority according to repeatable rules. Its two operating modes separate user-level configuration from system-wide management. These modes support per-user and machine-level priorities.
