About QNAP Qfinder Pro
QNAP Qfinder Pro locates network-attached storage (NAS) devices on the same local network and provides access to them. Its Windows edition can connect NAS storage as a network drive or virtual disk, making files available through the computer’s normal storage interface. It also includes a media-upload feature that can transcode media on the local PC before transferring it, reducing work performed by the NAS during that upload. Qfinder Pro is available for Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu Linux. Its central role is finding and connecting to NAS devices on the local network, with additional storage and media-upload workflows on Windows. The available devices depend on the local network and the NAS systems configured for access.
