About QUniLator Installer
QUniLator Installer writes a system image to an SD card and prepares the card before the device boots. It can configure the operator identity, host name, SSH keys, and network address on the card in advance, so the target system is ready with those settings on its first startup. The installer verifies the card by reading back what it wrote. The image is used with a BeagleBone Black to drive a UNIBUS or QBUS backplane, allowing a PDP-11 to boot from emulated disks and tapes. Writing directly to a disk device requires administrator privileges. QUniLator Installer combines image writing, verification, and pre-boot configuration in one workflow for preparing the system card.
