About Riss Notes
Riss Notes is a text editor designed to preserve a note-taking session across restarts. Its defining behavior is that the editing session itself is retained: untitled documents, unsaved changes, open panes, and cursor positions can all survive when the application is closed and reopened. This makes it useful for work that is still in progress, where the user wants to return to the same collection of text and continue from the same place. Rather than requiring every note to be named and saved as a separate file before leaving, the editor keeps the current working state. Riss Notes centers on preserving the active editing context between sessions.
