About Rocket Streaming Audio Server
Rocket Streaming Audio Server broadcasts live audio over HTTP or HTTPS. It supports common audio codecs and is compatible with established internet-radio streaming protocols. The server can relay streams, provide fallback streams, and deliver content using HLS. These features support continuous audio distribution: a source can be sent to listeners over the web, relayed from another server, or backed by an alternate stream if the main one is unavailable. Rocket Streaming Audio Server is a backend for live audio broadcasting rather than a desktop player or editing application. HLS packages streams for delivery over HTTP to playback clients. It can also fall back to alternate streams.
