About Sante Web Downloader
Sante Web Downloader retrieves medical imaging studies and saves the received data as a ZIP file. The application lets users inspect the download process, then stores the completed study in an archive that can be opened by a compatible DICOM viewer. Users can configure the saved archive to open with a DICOM viewer of their choice, provided that viewer can open ZIP files from the command line. This is useful when a recipient prefers a desktop viewer over a browser-based imaging viewer. Sante Web Downloader is intended as a transfer and handoff utility for DICOM studies. Its workflow ends with a ZIP archive that can be passed to a compatible viewer for review.
