About scrab
scrab is a screenshot plugin for OBS Studio that adds a configurable hotkey for capturing a selected screen region. The captured area is added as an image source to the current OBS scene, allowing users to include a screenshot in a stream or recording. Selecting a region on demand can be useful when a presenter wants to show a specific part of the desktop without capturing the entire screen. Adding it directly as a scene source keeps the screenshot within the broadcast workflow. scrab is intended for OBS users who need a quick way to capture and display a portion of the screen. It connects region selection with scene composition through a configurable shortcut.
