About ScreenshotAnnotator
ScreenshotAnnotator is an image-markup tool for Windows and Linux. It lets users add arrows, speech-bubble callouts, text notes, bordered selections and highlights to a screenshot. Blur effects can obscure sensitive areas, while selection tools allow portions of an image to be copied or removed. The application can cut out horizontal or vertical slices and save projects automatically with preview thumbnails. OCR can extract text from screenshots through supported recognition engines. These features help users turn a raw capture into an annotated explanation or record. ScreenshotAnnotator is intended for people who document software, report issues or explain visual material. It combines capture review, markup and project organization in a cross-platform desktop workflow.
