About Second Desk
Second Desk is a Windows file-management utility that places frequently used files in a drawer-style panel for quick access. The panel can appear when the pointer reaches a screen edge or when the user presses a global shortcut, then hide automatically when it is no longer needed. This provides a compact way to reach files without keeping a crowded collection of icons on the desktop. The application can identify file types, organize items into custom categories and virtual folders, and let users create groups by dragging icons together. It also supports batch selection for actions on multiple items. The drawer can be customized, including its position, size, trigger delay, theme and auto-hide behavior. Second Desk is intended for people who want a persistent but space-saving launch point for applications, documents and downloads. Its quick panel brings file access and lightweight organization together in a single desktop workflow.
