About Shaka Packager
Shaka Packager is a media-packaging framework for video-on-demand and live-streaming applications. It prepares media for DASH and HLS delivery, two streaming formats used by compatible playback clients. The framework supports Common Encryption for Widevine and other digital-rights-management systems. This allows packaged streams to use encryption schemes expected by supported playback and distribution workflows. Shaka Packager is intended for developers building media-delivery systems.
