About SHARPpy-Reimagined
SHARPpy-Reimagined is a sounding-analysis application for atmospheric data, modernized for current Python workflows. It provides skew-T plots, hodographs, hazard views and derived parameters for point soundings. These visualizations help meteorologists examine vertical atmospheric profiles and assess conditions associated with weather. The application includes command-line entry points, bundled resources and decoder/extractor tools for reproducible analysis. It supports workflows involving weather data from several established sources and uses a Qt-based interface for rendering. SHARPpy-Reimagined is intended for meteorological analysis and education. It combines familiar sounding displays with a standalone Python 3.11+ workflow for examining and visualizing atmospheric profiles. Its Qt6/PySide6 rendering supports a modern graphical workflow for profile analysis.
