About SimpleFixAI
SimpleFixAI diagnoses common Windows PC problems, explains its findings in plain language and asks before every repair. It uses tools built into Windows and organizes repairs in a safe sequence, creating a snapshot before changes. Many repairs can be undone with one action, while others may be only partly reversible or have no undo path. Repairs that change system files also request a restore point. Diagnosis, undo and most repair work can run locally without an internet connection, including work on a broken connection. An optional local AI model can answer questions through the app’s chat. SimpleFixAI is intended for users who need help investigating and repairing common Windows issues. Usage and error reporting are enabled by default and can be turned off in Settings, so users can control whether those reports are sent.
