About SIRIUS

SIRIUS is a Java-based framework for identifying metabolites and other small molecules from tandem mass-spectrometry data. It analyzes LC-MS/MS measurements and integrates several computational tools for interpreting the resulting spectra and identifying candidate compounds. The software provides both a graphical interface and a command-line version. These interfaces integrate tools for molecular formula and structure identification, ranking candidates and characterizing compound classes. The Windows package includes a Java runtime environment. SIRIUS is intended for researchers analyzing metabolites and small molecules using mass spectrometry. Its framework combines several analysis methods into a workflow for moving from measured spectra toward candidate molecular identities.
