About SLS701
Thorlabs SLS701 provides a graphical interface for remotely controlling SLS701 light sources. It includes controls for adjusting intensity, switching the source on or off, changing between open-loop and closed-loop operation, and enabling or disabling rear-panel ports. The GUI and physical front-panel controls remain available at the same time. The application continuously reads the instrument's status and updates its display, so adjustments made at the device are reflected in the software interface. Thorlabs SLS701 is intended for users operating compatible light sources from a Windows computer. It provides remote access to most front-panel functions while keeping the GUI synchronized with the device's current state.
