About SoftPerfect Switch Port Mapper
SoftPerfect Switch Port Mapper identifies devices connected to ports on managed network switches. For each connected port it can show the associated MAC address, IP address and host name, along with network-card vendor, port speed, device type, VLAN and port statistics. The tool discovers switches by scanning the network and can use router ARP tables or subnet scans to map clients to addresses. It supports SNMP versions 1, 2c and 3 and is available as both a graphical application and a console utility for scripts. Switch Port Mapper is intended for network administrators troubleshooting connectivity or documenting switch layouts. It connects switch-port data with endpoint details in a table that can be reviewed interactively or processed in automation.
