About sonarctl
sonarctl is a command-line and terminal-interface tool for inspecting and changing physical audio devices assigned to SteelSeries Sonar channels. It can show which playback devices, such as speakers or headphones, and which capture devices, such as microphones, are routed to those channels. Users can inspect the current assignments and change them either through commands or an interactive text interface. sonarctl is designed for people who need to adjust Sonar’s audio routing from a terminal or scriptable workflow. It focuses on device assignments within Sonar rather than changing general Windows sound configuration. This is useful when managing Sonar routing without switching away from a terminal workflow.
