About SonicWall NetExtender
SonicWall NetExtender provides remote network access for Windows and Linux users through an SSL VPN connection. Once connected, a remote user can run applications on the company network and reach resources as though working locally. The client supports uploading and downloading files and mounting network drives, in addition to general access to network applications. The product is intended to connect remote users with organizational systems without requiring them to be physically on site. Access to file shares and mounted drives can make familiar network resources available during remote work, while file transfer supports moving data between the user and the network. NetExtender is a Windows and Linux client for organizations using this form of remote access. Its use depends on the corresponding organizational VPN service.
