About Tachidesk-JUI
Tachidesk-JUI is a desktop interface for reading manga from a Tachidesk server. It can start the server itself or connect to a server that is already running, giving users flexibility in how the reading environment is hosted. The interface is built with JetBrains Compose. The application connects manga browsing and reading to server-provided content and extensions. Running the server locally combines the interface and content service on one computer, while connecting to an existing server allows the client to use a separate host. Tachidesk-JUI is intended for users who want a desktop manga reader connected to a Tachidesk server. It is open source and supports both self-contained and client-to-server setups. The available manga sources depend on the server’s extensions and configuration.
