About tdoc

tdoc is a command-line tool for reading, rendering, and converting Markdown, HTML, Gemini, and FTML documents. It can open a file, URL, or standard input, display the content as styled terminal output, and convert between supported formats. A built-in pager supports reading longer documents in the terminal. The tool parses supported formats into a shared in-memory document tree, so content it reads can also be rendered or emitted in another supported format. Watch mode refreshes the display or regenerated output when the input file changes. tdoc is intended for users who work with text documents in the terminal and want both a reader and format-conversion utility in one binary.
