Texmaker is a cross-platform LaTeX editor that brings document-writing tools into one application. It supports Unicode, spell checking, autocomplete, code folding, and an integrated PDF viewer with SyncTeX support and continuous view mode. LaTeX is a document preparation system commonly used for technical and academic writing. Texmaker combines source editing with a PDF view, helping authors write a document and inspect its compiled appearance. SyncTeX links positions in the source and output, making it easier to move between the text and corresponding rendered page. Texmaker is intended for people writing LaTeX documents who want editing, checking, and PDF review in one place. It is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux and is released under the GPL license.
