About tftpd64
tftpd64 is a lightweight, multithreaded collection of network servers for Windows. It combines several infrastructure services in one application: TFTP for transferring files, DNS for resolving names, SNTP for synchronizing clocks, SYSLOG for receiving system log messages, and DHCP for assigning network configuration to devices. Running these services together can support small networks, testing setups, or device configuration workflows. The multithreaded design allows the server components to handle work concurrently. Its range of protocols makes it more than a file transfer utility, although TFTP is one of the services in the suite. Its clear role is to provide a compact set of commonly used network services from a single software package.
